The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks will open their first season in the American Association against a familiar foe.
The RedHawks will start play in the American Association on Thursday, May 12 with a four-game series against the Winnipeg Goldeyes at CanWest Park in Winnipeg, MB. The RedHawks Home Opener will be Monday, May 16 at 7:02 p.m. against the St. Paul Saints, the first of a three-game set between two of the most successful team in independent baseball history.

The American Association schedule is 100 games, meaning the RedHawks will host 50 games at Newman Outdoor Field. Fargo-Moorhead will play all games against teams from the North and Central Divisions and will not see teams from the South Division during the 2011 regular season. Every team from the North and Central Division will play in Fargo in 2011.
In 2011, standard game times will be 7:02 p.m. on Monday-Friday, 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays and 1:00 p.m. on Sundays.
The RedHawks will play three Business Day games with 12:30 p.m. starts on June 15, July 21 and August 18. The School Day Game, with 11:00 a.m. first pitch, will be on May 18. Also, the Saturday evening games on August 13 & 27 will be 7:02 p.m. starts, while the Sunday, August 14 game will start at 6:00 p.m. The RedHawks have also planned at least five post-game fireworks shows, with dates to be announced soon.
