John James earned his third consecutive win as the Saltdogs downed Fargo-Moorhead 6-1 in a fast-paced contest to even the series at Haymarket Park Tuesday night.
James (9-5) allowed just one run on seven hits in seven innings, and has now emerged victorious in his last three outings, allowing just three runs in the 19-inning stretch.
Garrett Sherrill finished the game with two scoreless frames as Lincoln finished off the RedHawks in a crisp 2 hours, 20 minutes.
Phil Hawke blasted a two-out, three-run homer in the second to boost the Saltdogs lead to 5-0.
