RedHawks Fall Short, Lose to T-Bones 7-5![]() FARGO, N.D. – The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks took the Kansas City T-Bones deep for three home runs but are unable to overcome the T-Bones’ hot bats, dropping the series finale 7-5 in front of a crowd of 3,073 at Newman Outdoor Field on Sunday afternoon. Nic Jackson gave the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (58-35) an early lead by hitting a solo home run in the first, tying Jesse Hoorelbeke for first in franchise history with 65 career home runs. Jeremiah Piepkorn and Keith Brachold also went yard in Sunday’s contest. Brandon Jones had a second-consecutive multi-hit game for the Kansas City T-Bones (39-54), going 2-for-4 with a home run – his fourth in the last two games. Jairo Perez, Trevor Coleman and Petey Paramore all had multiple hits for Kansas City as they outhit Fargo-Moorhead 12-4. Taylor Stanton started for the RedHawks, going seven innings after giving up five runs on eight hits with seven strikeouts before being replaced by Joe Harris. Harris went one inning with two runs on two hits. Nate Kilcrease pitched the final inning and didn’t allow a run. Dustin Loggins got the call and picked up a victory for Kansas City. He pitched six innings after being tagged with four runs on three hits. Keith Picht and Jose Jimenez combined for two scoreless innings in relief before Chad Robinson came in to earn the save. The RedHawks were unable to clinch the North Division with a win on Sunday, the magic number remains at one. The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks are back at Newman Outdoor Field to take on the Amarillo Sox on Tuesday at 7:02 p.m. for the final regular season home stand.
