For the second night in a row, the matchup between the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks and Laredo Lemurs was decided by one run, but this time the RedHawks were victious by a 2-1 final.
RedHawks’ starter Richie Mirowski earned the win for his excellent performance on the mound, giving up just one earned run in seven innings with eleven strikeouts.
The bullpen was also excellent for Fargo-Moorhead as relievers Will Mathis along with Travis Ballew, who earned the save, pitched scoreless innings. For the Lemurs, starter Scott Garner provided Laredo with an excellent outing as he didn’t allow an earned run in his 6.2 innings pitched.
RedHawks and Lemurs continue their season-opening four game series Saturday night at 7:05 p.m.
