FARGO, N.D. – The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have filled the 2017 promotions schedule for a summer of fun at the ballpark. Single game tickets go on sale on Monday, April 3 at 10:00 a.m., and fans can begin redeeming Flex Pack vouchers and pick up Season Tickets starting that day as well.

The RedHawks Home Opener will be Monday, May 29 vs. Sioux City at 6 p.m. to kick off a six-game opening homestand.  Opening Night will have the traditional Magnetic Schedule giveaway to all fans, plus Post-Game Fireworks thanks to Shooting Star Casino. The opening homestand also features: Poster Schedule Giveaway sponsored by Forum Communications Printing (May 30), Pray For Gray Brain Tumor Awareness Night (May 31), Star Wars Night (June 1), Youth Baseball/Softball Night with Post-Game Fireworks (June 2), Sickies Garage Shop Rag Giveaway (June 3).

This season’s schedule includes Fireworks on each Friday night home game plus the Home Opener. Fireworks Nights for the 2017 season include: May 29; June 2; June 9; June 23; July 7; July 21; August 11; August 18; and August 25. These fireworks shows have become a “can’t-miss” summer event in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

There will be three Thursday afternoon Business Day Games in 2017, each with 12:30 p.m. starts:  June 15 (sponsored by NetWork Center, Inc.), July 13 (sponsored by Budweiser & D-S Beverages) and August 31 (sponsored by BANK of the WEST).  Following each Business Day Game, there will be a free concert in the Budweiser Beer Garden courtesy of NetWork Center, Inc. The June 15 concert will feature Blind Joe, with July 13 and August 31 featuring Off Duty.

The RedHawks have planned numerous giveaways throughout the season:

• Baseballs (June 14). First 1,000 fans, sponsored by Town & Country Credit Union.
• Ugly Sweater Beanies (June 24). First 1,000 fans, sponsored by Otter Tail Power Co.
• Mini-bats (July 8). First 1,000 fans, sponsored by Dippin’ Dots & Taco Shop.
• T-Shirts (July 22). First 1,000 fans, sponsored by Algorthme.
• Bucky Burgau Bobblehead (August 2). First 1,000 fans, sponsored by Concordia College.
• Can Koozies (August 9). First 1,000 fans 21 & older, sponsored by Pabst Blue Ribbon.
• RedHawks #19 Jake Laber Replica Jerseys (August 12). First 1,000 fans, sponsored by Coca-Cola.

The RedHawks will welcome two special appearances to Newman Outdoor Field in 2016.

• Dennis Haskins aka Mr. Belding from the 90’s TV show “Saved by the Bell” is here July 31 presented by Talecris Plasma Resources.  

There are several theme nights on the schedule for 2017 including:

• Pray for Gray Brain Tumor Awareness Night (May 31)
• Star Wars Night (June 1). Dress up as your favorite character and come early for Lightsaber training with other Jedi before the game! Special Star Wars Night t-shirt & ticket package available starting April 3.
• Youth Baseball & Softball Night (June 2). $7 Reserved or $3 General Admission tickets for kids on any youth baseball, T-ball, and softball teams. Come in jersey and take part in a pre-game autograph session with RedHawks players.
• Super Hero Night (June 12). Any law enforcement, fire fighters, and first responders can purchase reserved tickets for $5. Kids dress up as their favorite Super Heroes for a chance to win prizes.
• Brunch & Baseball (June 25). Join us for a pre-game brunch! Brunch ticket packages available starting April 3.
• Harry Potter Night (June 26). The first 500 fans receive a pair of Harry Potter glasses. Dress as your favorite character for a chance to win prizes, themed games, and other surprises all game!
• Princess Night (July 6). Bring your little princess to the ballpark and meet some popular Disney Princesses! Dress as a princess for a chance to win prizes!
• Breast Cancer Awareness Night (July 11). The RedHawks will wear special pink jerseys that will be auctioned off for breast cancer research. Presented by Edith Sanford Breast Center.
• Educators Appreciation Night (July 31). All educators can purchase Reserved tickets for $6 or General Admission for $3. Plus the game features “Mr. Belding” from the 90’s TV hit “Saved by the Bell”! Dennis Haskins, (aka “Mr. Belding”) will be taking pictures and signing autographs for fans during the game thanks to Talecris Plasma Resources.
• Scrubs Night (August 7). Doctors, nurses, medical staff, dental hygienists, etc. – if you wear scrubs, you can get Reserved tickets for $6 or General Admission tickets for $3!
• Children’s Day & Hawkeye’s Birthday (August 13). Brought to you by Sanford Children’s.
• Church Group Night (August 21). Bring your church group out to the ballpark! Special church group ticket packages available.

In addition to individual game promotions, the RedHawks are bringing back all their popular Daily Promotions in 2017.  The Daily Promotions are:

SUNDAYS

• Kids Run the Bases:  All kids 12 and under are welcome to run the bases after each game presented by Erbert & Gerbert’s.

MONDAYS

• Dollar Dog Night:  $1.00 Cloverdale hot dogs all game.

TUESDAYS

• Kids Eat Free: FREE Cloverdale Kid’s Meal to the first 500 kids.

WEDNESDAYS

• College Night: Show your valid College ID for a $3 General Admission or $7 Reserved ticket.
