CLEBURNE, Texas -- Shawn Zarraga hit a solo home run in the second inning, but the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks used a go-ahead two-run home run by Ryan Pineda in the seventh inning en route to a 4-1 win over the Cleburne Railroaders at The Depot Tuesday afternoon.
Zarraga clubbed the franchise's first home run -- an opposite-field solo shot to right field -- but the Railroaders (2-3) managed just five hits and scored a lone run for the second consecutive day.
The dinger was just about the only blip on Tyler Alexander's as he went the distance in the American Association's first complete game of 2017.
Jorge Martinez gave up just his only run when Derrick Fox scored on a sac fly from Mitch Delfino in the top of the first but Cortland Cox -- making his fourth appearance in six games -- gave up a pair of runs on the Ryan Pineda homer and was pegged with the loss after just one inning of work.
The two teams wrap of the three-game series with another 11:05 a.m. first pitch Wednesday.
