FARGO, N.D. – Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks CF Nic Jackson has been named the Pointstreak American Association Batter of the Week for July 23-29. Pointstreak is the official statistician of the American Association.
Jackson batted .440 (11-for-25) with two doubles, a triple, two home runs and nine RBI in six games last week as the RedHawks went 6-0 versus the Sioux Falls Pheasants and Gary SouthShore RailCats.
Jackson is batting .338 with 20 doubles, two triples, 13 home runs and an American Association-leading 70 RBI. He ranks tied for third in the league in home runs and is seventh in batting average.
The Pointstreak American Association Pitcher of the Week is former North Dakota State University pitcher Luke Anderson, who is now a member of the St. Paul Saints.
