FARGO – After breaking the RedHawks career saves record last summer, Fargo native Alex DuBord is back, re-signing with Fargo-Moorhead for 2025 on Wednesday.
In four seasons with the RedHawks, DuBord has appeared in 138 games and picked up 53 saves.
The Fargo South High School product joined the RedHawks in 2021 after playing collegiately at Neosho County Community College (Chanute, Kansas) and Faulkner University (Montgomery, Alabama). He was selected in the 10th round of the MLB June Amateur Draft by the San Francisco Giants. The righthander spent the 2018 and 2019 seasons with the San Francisco Giants organization.
Last season, DuBord went 2-3 with a 5.67 ERA and 17 saves in 36 appearances.
In his time with the RedHawks, DuBord has been a go-to arm in pivotal playoff moments and helped lead the team to the AAPB championship in 2022.
Fargo-Moorhead will open its 30th season of play on Friday, May 9, with the 2025 home opener against the Sioux Falls Canaries at Newman Outdoor Field.
